Product Positioning, Strategic Planning, Product Profitability and Financial Modeling
This client is a Financial Services Company. As the result of a promotion, this organization did not have a Student Loan Product Manager during the critical budget and strategic planning cycle. Our client's challenge was to identify a senior level product expert who could step into the product management role, require no learning curve, utilize the Bank's methods and develop key initiatives and strategies that would support an important business line.
We partnered with our client and assigned a senior project manager with lending experience to fulfill the role of Student Loan Product Manager. During the course of this assignment, our product expert functioning in the role of Product Manager completed the following:
Developed the product positioning required to support volume goals.
Developed the budget and Strategic Plan for the business line.
Designed and implemented a product specific Profitability Model to measure contribution to
income, ROA, ROI and ROE.
Designed and implemented a product specific, volume based FTE Staffing model.
Developed Sales Incentive and Sales Forecasting models to support the line of business.
