Multi-Dimensional Implementation
This client is an Outsourced Human Resource Benefits Administrator owned by a Financial Services Company. Our client was implementing Health & Welfare (Health Insurance), Defined Contribution (401K) and Defined Benefit (Pension) Plans for a new multi-division client. Each implementation was separate and unique. We were engaged 60 days prior to the scheduled Defined Contribution go live date, when the DC implementation was stopped as a result of unrelated problems with the H&W implementation. Our client's challenge was to ensure timely delivery of the DC module while remedying the problems associated with H&W module. At risk was the potential loss of $6 million annual outsourcing revenue.
We partnered with our client utilizing Cheryl Gross & Associates project management methodology to:
Split the H&W and DC project into separate manageable projects.
Analyze and align key resources based on core competencies to the H&W or DC project.
Develop unique project plans to support the completion of fixes to the H&W modules
and implementationof the DC module.
Project manage and facilitate the remediation of the H&W Plans and implementation of the DC plan.
We leveraged the efforts of our client’s team by assigning a senior project manager to manage the project. Working collaboratively with our client, we were able to fix the H&W module and deliver the multimedia (auto-attendant, internet, call center) DC administrative module servicing, multiple funds and program designs on time.
